Jetpack Keys

Introducing our new metal Jetpack Keys.  Also called the "Piano Keys," these parts are found in multiple Star Wars props including the ESB Boba Fett Flamethrower, and the R2-D2 charge arm. 

We modeled these parts using a combination of lineage dimensions and a fair amount of reverse engineering to make them as accurate as possible.  We are also incorporating larger edge breaks as can clearly be seen on the keys glued to the original props. Speaking of glue, nothing is worse than gluing a part onto your kit for it to fall off at a convention.  These parts will also include two optional tapped holes per parts and mounting hardware to make sure that once attached, they stay put. And lastly, to make tapping holes easier, we are including a custom drill jig that is the exact size and hole spacing of the keys so that you can install them lightning fast.  You don't even need to go find the right drill bit; That is included, too.

For the accuracy-centric crowd (we see you!), we have also included an option for a Non-Threaded variant! These will be a more limited run item, but will save you a couple bucks!

And finally, for those who are using a Denuo Novo Jetpack, we designed some precision-fit inserts to make adding our metal Jetpack Keys an absolute breeze.  These inserts are Resin 3D printed, and include preformed countersunk holes to mount the keys exactly where they need to be on the platform.  Due to the way this design works, a single key on each side will need to be glued in place, but we have added grooved male studs to key inside the threaded holes of the two keys and provide a much better purchase for the glue to grab onto.
